Hi, I’m Nishita. I’m a designer based in India, with a background in interaction design, systems thinking and visual storytelling. I studied at IDC School of Design, IIT Bombay, and have spent the last few years working in enterprise UX, especially within the finance domain. My work has spanned across large internal tools used by analysts, compliance teams, HR managers and operations staff. I’ve designed interfaces for LLM-powered research assistants, compensation planning platforms, financial dashboards and productivity tools used across global financial teams.

I enjoy shaping products that make complex tasks simpler, especially in environments where precision, scale and context really matter. Whether I’m working on a decision-making tool or a learning experience, I think it is important to find the tradeoff between usability and complexity.

Outside of work, I draw, write speculative stories and spend a lot of time with my three cats. I’m currently open to new roles, remote or relocating outside India, and am especially interested in projects that combine thoughtful design with social change.
